In May 2020, the law on organ donation in England changed to opt-out. This means that all adults in England will be considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die unless they have recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups.
The Jewish Organ Donation Association is a non-profit organisation comprised of senior Jewish clinicians and marketing experts. We are interested in gathering a wide range of views about the change in the law and implications for the Jewish community. By doing so, we aim to inform the debate and increase donations by the Jewish community to all.
