In May 2020, the law on organ donation in England changed to opt-out. This means that all adults in England will be considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die, unless they have recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups.
The Jewish Organ Donor Association is a non-profit, independent, cross-communal organisation of senior Jewish clinicians and marketing experts.
Our aim is to raise awareness to Jews of a positive approach to organ donation to all. We advocate conversation and education which helps Jews to be confident and fully informed of their decision to proactively register to the organ donor register and faith declaration.
We are not a religious organisation and cannot comment on Jewish law (Halacha). We recommend speaking to your respected religious leader on these issues.

YOUR VIEW MATTERS
Our second survey is designed to understand whether the community's views and attitudes have changed over the past year.
The survey will only be live for a short time, so if you could complete it now it would be appreciated.
It should take less than two minutes to complete and is totally anonymous and voluntary.
Please complete only once (18+ UK only) then share the link with any Jewish friends and family so we can sample a wide range of views of British Jewry.
Thank you in advance.
